BS Movement is looking for an Intern

BS Movement is looking for a research, administrative, and production intern from December 2017 to March 2018. The intern will work in collaboration with Shaina & Bryan on the development and marketing of their current project; performance to premiere Feb. 22-24 2017. The intern will have weekly projects to complete, they can work at their own remote location or at our office space through Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in downtown Manhattan (monthly meetings at the office required). 

Weekly tasks will include: social media upkeep, research and dialogue on the history and current forms of African-American Oppression in the United States, maintaining schedules, budget/record keeping and strategizing. 

The intern should be highly organized with a passion for management, communication and creative strategizing. Experience with social media platforms required.  It is important to us that the intern be comfortable contributing their voice/opinion to our discussions. And comfortable maintaining/managing tight schedules.
