Call for Women Choreographers Working on Pointe

6th Season of CounterPointe: new work by women choreographers and their collaborations with artists

Interested women choreographers should have a track record of presenting work and must have interest in collaborating with a visual artist. If selected, you will be paired with a collaborator. Norte Maar will curate this pairing.

We are interested in producing a program which represents the cultural diversity of NYC. There is no house style, though the pointe shoe must be at the heart of the work. You must be able to collaborate with a New York metro area-based artist.

Selections will be made on a first come / first served basis. Tech and performance dates: April 12-15, 2018 at the Actors Fund Arts Center, Brooklyn
