THE MIRROR - experimental, performance-driven short film

Seeking dancers and performance artists, as well as performers with experience with one or both, for an experimental student short film about a girl that is trapped in a blank void with a previous generation's rendering of herself. Performers should be comfortable on camera, previous acting experience a plus.

Please submit headshot, resume, and a performance reel (dancing preferred). If you don't have a dance reel, please mention with your submission and you will receive instructions on a video submission. Materials can be sent to gabe.j.lyons@gmail.com. Audition date TBA.

Shooting March 14 & 16-18 in NYC.

The role being casted is:

ARI/ARIELLE (lead): female, 17-23yrs, race non-specific. Expressive face, able to tell a story without saying a word. Ari/Arielle, two generations of the same girl, one a product of the age of technology and the internet, the other one of WWI-era US.
