Casting Dancers for Carmen

Opera Philadelphia is casting dancers for a new production of Carmen, directed by Paul Curran and choreographed by Seth Hoff. 

Seeking dancers over the age of 18 to fill a total of 4 positions - all positions will be costumed as men, but auditions are open to all genders. These are AGMA roles, but all are encouraged to audition, as previous union membership is not a requirement.

Production is set in 1950's Cuba, and dancers should have a strong jazz, ballet, and/or musical theatre background.  

Auditions will be held starting at 1:00pm on February 26, 2018 at Innovation Studios in the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, PA. 

Rehearsals begin April 2, 2018, and the closing performance is May 6, 2018. All rehearsals and performances are in Philadelphia, PA.
