Contemporary Dance Workshop

Whim W’Him Contemporary dance workshops will be held in New York City on March 6, from 10 am - 12 pm at Gibney Dance, studio E (Lower Manhattan), and on March 7, from 6 pm - 8 pm at Gibney Dance, studio 4 (Union Square).

For Advanced Dancers Ages 18 and up.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Dancers will explore original repertoire and receive a hands-on collaborative approach to movement creation from Olivier Wevers, Whim WHim Founder, and Artistic Director. Dancers will also practice improvisation and partnering. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to immerse yourself in a welcoming and non-competitive creative environment, similar to company life, that will culminate in phrases sourced from current Whim W’Him repertoire as well as newly created material.

Socks are the required footwear

Advance material must be received two weeks prior to workshop dates via google form only. Limited space available, invited participants will receive a confirmation by email with instructions to pay the fee ($40) online in advance of the workshop day.
