Job Type: Full-time. Available immediately.

As our Custom Shoe Design Manager your main focus will be the day to day interactions with our custom and show clientele, meeting, conversing, translating and facilitating their needs in dance shoe wear by taking their desired designs and physicalizing them first in sketches and drawings, then bringing their designs to life with the internal magic of LaDuca’s ability to take any shoe/boot from high couture fashion to common work boot and make them not only an esthetically beautiful work of art, but more, a 100% danceable, functioning necessity. You are expected not only to continue to provide excellent customer service and fabulous designs/shoes to existing clientele, but to actively seek out ever new clients. In charge of Custom orders from meetings to inception to pricing/invoicing, to tracings and measurements, to creations to fittings, to follow ups, remakes, insuring total and complete satisfaction of clients.

Responsibilities and Goals

One on one personalize service to Custom clientele; costumers, associates, wardrobe, directors, choreographers, talent
Continue growth in custom sales
Handle all sketching and design work
Facilitate all meetings, fittings, tracings and measurements (floor work), follow ups
Identify new client opportunities
Maintain and expand Custom opportunities
Handle all related invoicing and ordering
Work directly with factory(factories)/vendors
Source and acquire any supplies (leathers, fabrics, accessories) needed
Ship any and all supplies as needed
Able to handle fast pace environment and understands deadlines

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Design and drawing skills a must
1-3 years prior work related experience
Proficiency in Photoshop (and related design programs) Word, Quickbooks/POS, PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent and clear verbal communication skills
Excellent people and organizational skills
Proficient in design presentation
Knowledgeable in leather/fabric/material/ accessory coordination
Commitment to team goals and achievements
