VOU is Fijis Premiere Contemporary Dance company specializing in the exploration of contemporarising traditional Fijian knowledge through movement and performance www.voufiji.com. VOU offers our first dance intensive to the international dance community in 2018. Bringing together Fiji’s most up and coming choreographer Navi Fong and the UK’s pioneering young choreographer Heather Walrond who will collaborate to lead this 6 day program. This intensive program will be bringing dance technique and choreographic practise from both Fijian and British contemporary dance forms - to explore the potential of the human body in an around different spaces in the Fijian environment. Collaborate with dancers from around the world as well as the Fijian dancers of the VOU Dance Company.
