RISE - A TRIBUTE TO THE PERSEVERANCE OF BLACK WOMEN

Auditions: Thursday, March 15th: 7PM - 11PM

Shoot: Sunday, April 8th

RISE is a short dance film celebrating the perseverance of black women.

The film will feature 7 black womxn of all ages, step dancing to a deeply relevant and resonant Maya Angelou speech. Directed by Tobi Aremu and choreographed by Ebony Williams.

We are seeking black female dancers of ALL AGES. Experience with step and African dancing is a plus.

Rehearsals are the weeks of March 26th & April 2nd. Monday thru Friday from 7pm-11pm with a Sunday rehearsal on April 1st of 6-8hrs. Shooting all day Sunday, April 8th.

Performers will be compensated.
