CAMDEN’S FESTIVAL OF DANCE AND SUMMER INTENSIVE

Camden's Festival of Dance and Summer Intensive at the Walter K. Gordon Theatre, Rutgers University

That Which Connects is a platform for dance companies in the City of Camden, as well as the larger Delaware Valley, to celebrate their artistry as well as become a part of the reemerging arts community in Camden.

That Which Connects provides the established artist that wants to challenge themselves an opportunity to present their work, while expanding and strengthening their voice.

That Which Connects further exposes the emerging artist with the opportunity to perform their works in an environment that inspires growth and inclusion in a professional quality performance environment. The merging of established and emerging choreographic works brings a fervent energy to the stage.

That Which Connects is a dance festival committed to sparking ingenuity and innovation, while bolstering Camden's creative spirit.  The festival invites emerging and established professional dance companies to submit finished works that exemplify the highest level of artistry.

That Which Connects through its three day intensive for pre-professional young dancers is bridging the gap between young artists and highly respected professionals.  Technical training, artistic exploration, and performance opportunities are the three immensely powerful experiences that will be gained by attending these three intense days of training and rehearsing, culminating in performing with pre-professional and professional dance companies throughout the Delaware Valley.

That Which Connects is based on the philosophy of Introspective Movement Project, the professional dance company presenting these 6 incredibly life inspiring days.  As Introspective Movement Project attempts to do in all of its artistic pieces, this festival is committed to defying limitations and restrictions placed on movement, while inspiring soul inspired self-exploration.
