Dance Teachers Wanted (Jersey City) - UPDATED 7/25/18

 

The Kennedy Dancers, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is seeking experienced dance teachers with diverse training in all styles of dance, including, but not limited to: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, and Hip-Hop. We are also interested in teachers of Bollywood dance. Need a teacher who can thoroughly teach at least three of these dance styles and must be comfortable teaching students of all ages, from three to senior citizens. The right candidate must be committed to teaching (not touring), amicable, prompt and reliable, and must be animal-friendly with no pet allergies, as there are therapy cats on premises. Teachers must be available to teach classes part-time, one or two evenings during the week (Monday – Friday), plus Saturday during the day. Week day class schedules are 2:00pm to 3:00pm and 4:30pm to 8:30pm; Saturdays from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Classes are typically 45 minutes to one hour in length.
