ATAD Boston - Call for Choreographers

 


Across The Ages Dance Project 2019 ~ Call for Choreographers

The producers of ATAD are looking for up to 6 choreographers to prepare new work for our 2019 season.  
What: Create an original work on a cast of your choosing that is 9-12 minutes in length.  While not every piece must contain an inter-generational cast, the overall concert will embrace and celebrate dancers across a wide range of ages.

When: Performances Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2,
Tech Rehearsals are Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29,
Dress Rehearsal is Friday, May 30
Where: Boston University, Dance Theatre, 915 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA

How to apply: Complete our application here by 5PM on Monday, October 15. 

All selected choreographers will participate in a facilitated discussion with the 2019 ATAD  on the topic of working with an inter-generational cast.  Choreographers will be compensated, along with being provided video footage of the final concert and complimentary tickets for choreographers.
