STRONG AND SMART PEOPLE NEEDED FOR THE NEW YORK PRODUCTION OF GLASS HANDEL National Sawdust / St John the Divine / Opera Philadelphia / Visionaire / Anthony Roth Costanza and Cath Brittan are presenting GLASS HANDEL in New York on the 26th and 27th November 2018

In this piece, the audience is seated, but throughout the production, their seats are physically moved (with the audience still seated!) from station to station within the room by 30 "people movers." This action is done with a sort of chair dolly that allows all 4 wheels to remain on the floor. We are looking for 34 people who are strong, have strong backs and are able to remember choreography / direction and who are over 5’9” tall.

The production includes choreography by Justin Peck, George Condo is live painting, Anthony Roth Costanzo sings Handel and Glass. Costumes are being provided by Calvin Klein.

Rehearsals / show 24 – 27 November 2018

Audition / casting on the 24th October – from 6.30pm. This is a paid job.
