WINTER FOLLIES & “SOLO FANCY” 2019 SHOWCASES: ARTISTS' SIGN-UPS OPEN NOW!

Sign up now for Winter Follies & Solo Fancy! Photo: Erik Almeida 2018

Sign-up to perform in STH’s annual WINTER FOLLIES 2019! The first 30 performing groups to sign-up have 5 minutes to do whatever they do best and the audience votes on which artist or group’s work they would like to see a whole evening production of next fall. The artist or group with the most votes at the end of the weekend receives 50 hours of free rehearsal space, plus a fully produced weekend of their own work next season. Performers must be professionals*, over the age of 21 to participate. (STH defines professional performers as those attempting to earn their living through their performing art.)

Because of the ongoing renovation at the Gowanus, this year’s WINTER FOLLIES will be held February 1st & 2nd again at the Old First Reformed Church in Park Slope.

NOTE: This year we are limiting the number of solo works on the mainstage showcase to 8 artists and will be giving larger group performance works priority.  But because of the overwhelming and growing demand by solo artists to showcase their work at WINTER FOLLIES over the last few years, we have also added a new, separate showcase - SOLO FANCY - to accommodate solo performance artists only.
