Richard S. Denson, an emerging choreographer, is looking for dancers for a new project: stubbornMVMT. 

stubbornMVMT is a performance-based group that uses dance, theatre and visual arts to shatter boundaries of the status quo. The company is driven on the idea to purely provoke, especially on controversial topics. It is not our interest in providing an answer but rather a platform for discussion. Yes we are stubborn and it is OK!

With this initial project, we hope to accomplish a foundation for the company. We will create and document work to submit for future residencies, festivals, and other performance opportunities to introduce the world to stubbornMVMT, a new performance-based company.

On the day of the auditions, please arrive promptly as there will be a small warmup to begin followed by phrase-work and guided improvisation. Modern and Contemporary dancers are strongly encouraged to apply. A background in Ethnic and/or Street styles is also beneficial. Deadline to register is November 30, 2018.
