DANCE (Latin Dance, African Dance, and Tumbling) Teaching Artists -- ongoing work

Notes in Motion Outreach Dance Theatre is seeking experienced Dance Teaching Artists for ongoing dance and movement residencies and after-school programs in the NYC Public Schools. These are paid teaching opportunities to inspire young people with dance in underserved schools throughout the five boroughs of NYC.

Auditions are on Monday, December 17th in the afternoon, location TBD.

We offer programs in all genres of dance. Currently we are specifically seeking dance educators with experience teaching Latin Dance, Tumbling and African Dance. Qualified candidates with experience in a variety of dance forms including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, ballroom, hip hop, African, and/or creative dance training are encouraged to apply as well. Candidates should have 2-3 years experience teaching in NYC public schools (or similar settings) elementary, middle, and/or high school populations. Experience teaching theater, yoga, martial arts, and/or gymnastics also A PLUS! Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese a plus as well.
