Blooming Bébé Seeks NYC Dancers/Instructors to Teach Toddlers

Blooming Bébé seeks dancers to teach developmental movement classes for toddlers. Applicants must have a fun, direct, and clear personality, a passion for teaching and working with small children, at least some dance experience.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Instructing infants and toddlers (ages 8 weeks – 4 years) and their caretakers in 45-minute movement classes.
Clearly demonstrating coordination exercises and singing nursery rhymes.
Providing positive feedback to class participants and monitoring their development.
Keeping track of attendance and quickly learning names of participants.
Speaking with parents and caretakers before and after class, explaining exercises if asked, and offering information about Blooming Bébé.

 

Qualifications

Love for children and movement.
Positive, inclusive, and encouraging attitude.
Rhythm.
Dance training, high level of body awareness.
Teaching experience, especially with infants and toddlers.
Flexibility and willingness to adjust classes based on the needs of participants.
