CONSTELLATIONS OF RESILIENCY

What tethers you to this earth? How have your experiences shaped your ability to be elastic and recover with agility?

We each have our own personal mythology; a set of stories that define who we are and how we have been shaped. Those individual constellations form our ability to be resilient.

Steep yourself in a 5-hour session investigating your personal mythology to tap into performative aspects of your artistry through a dance theater lens. Explore your approach to resiliency in the physical, psychological,  and emotional bodies. the integration of hyperphysical movement and theatrical elements will be the catalysts for mapping our unique constellations, ultimately defining our sense of resilience.

The stories of our human Experience carry deep guides. We must excavate and examine them to help us see the truth of what it means to be the artist that we are.

THE BEST WAY TO GET FAMILIAR WITH OUR CREATIVE PROCESS IS TO JOIN OUR PRACTICE, DIVE INTO A WORKSHOP, AND IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE HYPERPHYSICAL DANCE THEATER NATURE OF THE WORK. SHOWING UP TO THE PRACTICE ALLOWS FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW HOW YOU PROBLEM SOLVE, PROCESS MATERIAL, AND THINK CRITICALLY IN ADDITION TO YOUR UNIQUE ARTISTIC EXPRESSION.
