Join Grand Marshals Bill T. Jones, Baayork Lee, Louis Mofsie and DJ Dara along with 10,000 dancers in the 13th Annual Dance Parade and Festival (preview video)

Join one of over 200 dances in the parade May 18th - Individual dancers are free.  Registering as an organization is just $50 until March 31st and $100 thereafter for your group. (Scholarship fee waivers are considered with an April 10th deadline). With the parade application, you will have the opportunity to present work at DanceFest, the five stage festival that occurs at the conclusion of the parade in Tompkins Square Park. 

In addition to the visibility attained through our promotional vehicles, participating organizations have the opportunity to speak at the May 15th Press Conference and be interviewed by NY1 at the press box at DanceFest.  Additional perks include $75 stipends for 4-8minute performances on the main stage and $75 for 30minute teaching lessons.

Once registered, artists are eligible to be hired for our Community Engagement Programs that send teaching artists into schools and community centers for 10-20 weeks prior to the parade!
