#TightSlap2019: Open Call for South Asian LGBTQI+ Artists

Daya Arts & BAAD! Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance are seeking performers for #TightSlap2019 – our second showcase celebrating queer and trans South Asian artists on June 22 at 8:00PM. Our aim is to curate an evening of performances that reflect the diversity of South Asian art and provocatively address various issues impacting the South Asian LGBTQI+ community.

If you are a QTPOC performing artist whose background & work is situated in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tibet, & the larger diaspora, we'd love to learn more about you!

Selected artists/groups will perform 5-7 minutes for solos or 7-10 minutes for duets/small ensembles.
