About Boy Friday:

Boy Friday is a New York based movement arts company creating works of progressive and surreal dance theatre. We aim to mythologize familiar moments to generate a virtuosic exposure of contemporary life. The work intersects performance and visual art where social politics and nuanced aesthetics become symmetrical. Rigorous physicality and an attention to the environment in which the work exists invites viewers to experience and engage in new ways, and further, to question what it means to be one person vs. the world. Lead by Erik Abbott-Main, the ensemble consists of dancers, actors, filmmakers, musicians, activists, playwrights and all-around helpful people.
