GRIT BXNG is seeking a studio manager who will be responsible for managing all activities and operations at our flagship studio. The manager would contribute to GRIT BXNG growth by leading and directing the studio team. This person will have strong interpersonal skills, business awareness, and the ability to problem solve, quickly and efficiently. We are seeking a manager who will be audacious, confident, and play as a role model by leading a healthy lifestyle. The manager will have the final authority at the studio level; they must create an accepting and nurturing environment for current customers and potential clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Staff Hiring: The manager will work with ownership to conduct interviews and hire staff members (front desk associates, cleaning crew, assistant managers, av operators, and trainers). They will also work with the assistant manager to train staff on proper GRIT procedures and etiquette.
Staff Directing: Train, direct, and motivate all staff. Maintain a team that is client-oriented and exceptionally driven and in-line with company goals. Ensure time management and task prioritization of staff.
Brand Management: Uphold the GRIT BXNG community and culture inside and outside the studio.
Help manage the studio budget, staff scheduling, and supply ordering.
Ensure that front desk systems, lighting systems, POS systems, and all studio equipment are properly running and well-managed. Will also oversee bar and food operations.
Be the go-to individual for all major concerns regarding customer service.
Maintain studio cleanliness by managing the cleaning crew.
Help organize studio events, group bookings, and other corporate functions. 
Studio manager will directly report to ownership and participate in regular meetings to address studio and client issues

Qualifications:

Experience in NYC boutique fitness studio preferred.
Exceptional customer service and hospitality skills.
Strong communication skills with clients, senior management, and staff members.
Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
Flexibility in work schedule and living close to the studio preferred (16th street and Union Square).
Professional appearance both online and offline.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
