BalaSole Dance Company is currently seeking two Program Coordinator Interns from August 4 - 24, 2019 for an accelerated immersion internship experience. The interns will report directly to the company's Executive & Artistic Director. This internship will take place in Manhattan and the Bronx.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The interns will be responsible for the following functions:

1) Sales, ticket, box office management

2) Social Media Marketing

3) Event coordination and management

4) Photography and videography

5) Distribution of printed marketing materials

6) Volunteer mobilization and management

7) Perform other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate; some college or college graduate preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Detail oriented, meticulous, efficient, and highly organized

• Excellent with planning and time management

• Technologically savvy

• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

• Experienced in using social media

• A team player with a positive attitude

• Assertive, outgoing, creative, hard-working, and independent

• Proactive, solution-oriented, and reliable

• Very good with follow-ups

• Quick-thinking and can handle challenges
