Long2 Dance Company

The Vanessa Long Dance Company's Long2 Company is currently seeking submissions for it 2019-2020 season. Long2 works with gifted performers to give them the extra push they need to join the professional dance world. Our Long2 company is a stepping stone into the professional company. Focus is placed on technique, musicality, performance, and audition prep. The company works mainly in contemporary dance with a mix of jazz and theater. Those selected for the Long2 Company will have the opportunity to perform several times throughout the season, build their resumes, network, and work with choreographers who also run their own professional company. Opportunies to perform in Philadelphia and NYC. Company members will also have the option to choreograph and perform their own work. Opportunity to perform with the Vanessa Long Dance Company will be possible, along with the opportunity to choreograph work that will be performed in final showcase. 

Season run October 23rd-March 11th. Rehearsals are Wednesdays 12:00pm-3:00pm in the Lower East Side Manhattan.
