Upcoming Residencies at The Iron Factory, Philadelphia (2020)

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Announcing The Iron Factory's upcoming FREE residencies (must apply) for 2020!

March 27-29, 2020 ("micro" residency)
February 21-28, 2020 (weeklong residency)
April 24 - May 1, 2020 (weeklong residency)

To learn more about The Iron Factory studio, overnight accommodations (sleeps up to four), and to apply, visit theironfactory.org/residencyapplication. The application deadline is December 1, 2019! 

WHAT: This opportunity is for performing artists who would like to apply for a FREE residency at The Iron Factory. Our residencies can also be booked (see rates). For those who do not receive a residency, the application fee can be used toward a future rental! We encourage applications from artists at various stages of their career, and welcome individual artists, companies, and collaboratives both local and visiting to apply.  

Weeklong residencies include daily studio access from 8am-5pm, as well as evening studio hours if schedule permits. Micro residencies include all-day studio access from 8am on Friday until 5pm on Sunday. The 2nd floor loft (located in the same building) is a spacious and comfy shared living space with a full kitchen (coffee maker included), living room area with TV, bathroom and shower, washer and dryer, and a small friendly dog. We provide two beds (one queen and one full) and two aero beds if needed.
