Hartford Dance Collective Female Resident Artists for 2020 Season

The Hartford Dance Collective is auditioning Resident Artists and Apprentices for its 2020 season. Resident Artists of the Collective are independent dance artists looking for a platform to use their voice and a team/space to help make it happen. The Apprentice Program at the Collective is perfect for the young dancer looking for an outlet to perform and grow in a professional environment. a??

Dancers must:a??
• Be technically trained a??
• Have choreography & leadership experience a??
• Have the ability to pick up choreography quickly a??
• Be comfortable with improvisation a??
• Reside within 1 hour of Hartford, CTa??
• Be female identifying a??
• Resident Artists must be 21+ // Apprentices must be 16-20 yearsa??

The audition will consist of guided improvisation and a contemporary combination. Following the audition, you may he asked to present 2-3 minutes of your own choreography. To register, email your resume, headshot, and choreography video no later than 12/1. a??
