DANCE IN ITALY THIS SUMMER
AUGUST 11-25, 2020

a??Established in 2015, BREAK OUT: a dance program in Italy offers pre-professional and professional dancers a once-in-a-lifetime experience to train and perform in Italy. This two week dance intensive provides daily technique classes and enriching cultural experiences--from cooking and language classes to local excursions--to inspire and further develop the dance artist.

The 2020 international teaching faculty include: 
Alana Urda of Amalgamate Dance Company (NYC), Irene Saltarelli of Accademia Kataklò (Italy), Ottavia Catenacci (Denmark), Sarah Foster of Amalgamate Dance Company (NYC), and Tanya Birl-Torres (NYC)

TUITION INCLUDES

10 days of daily technique classes and rehearsals 
14 nights accommodation in fully furnished local apartments (double occupancy)
Outdoor performance in Piobbico's central piazza
2 group excursions to explore the region 
3 Italian language classes
A full evening Italian cooking class & dinner
Round trip airport transportation by private bus

Total Tuition: $1850
(Tuition does not include airfare, daily meals, or alternative travel arrangements)

 

SCHOLARSHIPS

We believe that artists from all backgrounds, regardless of their financial situation, should have the opportunity to study with us.  For this reason, we offer scholarships in the form of partial funding toward program costs.

If you are interested in being considered for a partial scholarship, you will have the opportunity to apply when you submit your application.
