We ask ushers to arrive one hour before the show to assist with pre/post-show preparation and patron check-in, and then enjoy the show for free! If this is your first time ushering at Gibney, we will provide you with an orientation of the space before we begin.

Please email housemanager@gibneydance.org with your name and phone number, as well as the show you'd like to usher.  We ask ushers to wear all black attire. All ushering spots are first come, first served, and you will receive an email confirmation. Please note that tickets in exchange for ushering are only valid for the show that was ushered. In the event that ushering spots for a show are already filled, please be on the lookout midway through December for an inquiry about future ushering opportunities.

Also, if you have any friends that are interested in ushering, please tell them to contact housemanager@gibneydance.org. We are always looking for ushers and are hoping to offer more opportunities for young artists to see works produced in the field!

If you're no longer interested in receiving notices about Gibney Dance volunteer opportunities, please just let us know and we'll remove you from the list.
