The application is now open for the 2020 Queerly Contemporary Festival Friday June 26th 8pm & Saturday, June 27st at 3pm at the 14th Street Y in New York City. Queerly Contemporary is an evening of LGBTQ+ dance makers investigating and celebrating the diversity of the LGBTQ+ experience and voices in contemporary dance making. The Festival seeks new or repertory works in all forms, solo or groups, as well as multidisciplinary works based in movement, for submission from artists that identify as LGBTQ+. Selected artists will receive a performance fee. Application Closes Sunday February 29th 11:59pm.
