SMUSH Gallery is now accepting applications for our brand new Curatorial Fellowship in Dance for the 2020-2021 season! This program offers dance artists of all contemporary forms the opportunity to curate a dance event of their own design at/with SMUSH Gallery, spend a full season in conversation and fellowship with their curatorial cohort, and form or deepen their relationship with Jersey City, NJ.

Fellows receive extensive developmental, administrative, and promotional support, as well as a $500 stipend. Please consult the Curatorial Fellowship in Dance (2020-2021) Info Sheet for full details.

Applications are due September 15th, after which select applicants will be invited to a phone/Zoom interview. All applicants will be notified by October 1. Dates for confirmation and return of agreements will be communicated on acceptance. There will be a Zoom info session about the program and application on September 5th at 12p edt; please find the link at smushgallery.com/opportunities.

SMUSH Gallery is located at 340 Summit Ave in Jersey City, NJ, a ten minute walk from the Journal Square PATH station.
