Contemporary Dancers for Upcoming Paid Projects

little house dance is hiring dancers who possess a strong foundation in contemporary dance technique and experience working with improvisation and task based work. Dancers must be either dance trained (degree level or equivalent) or have been working as a professional dancer for a minimum of 3 years.  

Dancers who identify themselves as part of the BIPOC community, the LGBTQ+ community, and/or are gender fluid, non-binary, or gender non-conforming are highly encouraged to apply. Recent graduates and dancers who reside in the six New England States are also encouraged to apply.   

This is a paid opportunity. Work for this project will be conducted via Zoom as well as in person in Maine. Dancers must be able to work in the United States, but may have residence outside of Maine.  As part of your application you will need to include your CV (max 2 pages) and between 1 – 3 videos of recent work. Please include at least one video of improvisation and one performance video. You must be clearly and completely visible in the video footage. You may also include a headshot and/or any relevant reviews of your dance work.
