Reaction Dance Company NYC will present Lights in the Dark: A Diwali Virtual Showcase Friday Nov 6th! We’re looking for dancers, actors, musicians, comedians, and poets a more to perform. We’re looking to select up to 10 artists. The piece/act you present must fit the theme of Diwali/ Indian culture/ lights/lighting up the night, and be between 5-10 minutes long. You can decide to give us a pre-recorded performance or perform live (from your home, a park, a studio whatever works best for you).

The date for the show will be Nov 6th at 8pm on zoom. If you are selected and want to perform live you will be required to attend a virtual tech the Thursday Nov 5th at 7:45 PM! Call time for LIVE performers will be 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. Each act will receive a stipend of $50. This payment will be sent through venmo by Friday November 13th. 
 
The deadline to apply is Tuesday Oct 12th. You should hear that week if you get in.
