Alonzo King LINES Ballet seeks dancers of soloist and principal caliber for future contracts. Ideal candidates are highly proficient and professionally trained in classical ballet technique, with at least 2 years of professional experience. The company looks for dynamic movers whose work shows complexity, curiosity, fearlessness, commitment, and nuance. Female artists must show strong pointe work.

Alonzo King LINES Ballet will hold a virtual company audition on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm PST.

AUDITIONS ARE BY INVITATION ONLY. For consideration, please send the following materials by Friday, February 12 (by 11:59 PST) to Kara Wilkes (Ballet Master):

1) Curriculum vitae/résumé
2) Headshot
3) Repertoire reel
4) 1-2 minutes of improvisation footage (in silence)
5) Footage of the following ballet exercises (5 – 7 minutes max):
- Barre: pliés, dégagés, rond de jambes à terre
- Center: adagio, pirouettes & movement thru space, small jumps/sautés
- Women: Please include pointe work either in your repertoire reel or some ballet class exercises
