Hi, 

My name is Yamini Kalluri. I am a full time professional Indian classical dancer with some experience in ballet and graham technique. In fact I am still a student at the Martha Graham School.  I am looking for advanced or professional level modern dancers who are really interested in studying Kuchipudi which is an Indian classical dance style to create new pedagogy and choreographic works which will lead to paid opportunities in the future such as dance performances, dance film and collaborations. But before all that you must really be interested in rigorously training in Kuchipudi for a year at least and should be looking forward to immerse yourself in the experimenting and incubation.

(Graham technique, Cunningham, Paul Taylor, Humphrey/Limón, Horton, Duncan Etc.) Dancers of these styles are my first preference. If you're based outside of NYC, you're still welcome to contact me and see where it goes.
