Alison Chase/Performance is hiring 1 female and 3 male identifying dancers for summer and fall NYC seasons.

Alison Chase/Performance is auditioning 3 male and 1 female identifying dancers for in-person rehearsals, performances, and teaching engagements during the 2021 summer and fall NYC seasons. 

*Immediate hire.    *Paid rehearsals and performance.   *Extensive performing experience required. 
*Strong partnering skills needed.    *Teaching, choreography, and travel experience is desired. 

*Due to space and travel restrictions, we ask that all applicants plan to be vaccinated by July 1st. 

To apply, please submit a 1-page resume, headshot, full-body photo, and a video clip of an informal improvisation going from a lengthened extended shape that ends on the floor. Send files and video link to auditions@alisonchase.org with the subject line Audition 2021 by June 25th, 2021. 

Shortlisted candidates will be notified for an in-person audition to be held in early July.

 

About Alison Chase:

Alison Chase is a choreographer, director, master teacher and theatrical artist.
Her work explores emotional terrain through innovative movement,
multidimensional storytelling, fusions of film and dance, site-specific works, and
museum installations.  Ms. Chase founded Alison Chase/Performance in 2010 to
pursue her creative vision in bold collaborations with others artists, writers,
designers, composers, photographers, filmmakers, dancers and musicians. She also co-founded Piloblus and Momix.
