The Hughes And Vecchione Dance Projects Summer Dance Residency Program will take place mid-August 2021 (August 7-14). Surrounded by the quaint, idyllic, and peaceful beauty of the Hudson Valley, New York, the residency is a week-long program that will feature guest artists, a visiting artist, daily morning technique classes, collaborative opportunities with a small group of movers, and plenty of studio space. Focused on an interdisciplinary dance approach, our residency is designed to promote exchnage and inquisiton, while provising opportunities to meet and work with creatives from all over the world. We wish to provide participants with the opportunity to move, examine, reflect, and create work in a unique studio space, which will be provided for the duration of the residency period.

Provided: food & board, transportation to and from living quarters upon arrival & departure, studio space

Not Provided: arrangements for tickets to fly/train trickets to head to upstate New York, a stipend for participating movers, any other extra purchases undertaken during the week
