The Bridge for Dance presents the Uptown Rising Performance Series Fall 2021 Season

After presenting over 100 artists since our inaugural 2018 season, Uptown Rising is proud to give artists the affordable opportunity to share their work!

Designed with the choreographer in mind, UR strives to create affordable programs, workshops & performance opportunities that connect artists to the space, their art, and to the growing community at the Bridge for Dance.

Performances are held in our large studio turned black box theatre, providing the opportunity to explore new ideas, revisit works in progress, and build on the creative process; all within the comfort of an intimate setting!

SHOW 1 - Saturday, October 23 | 7:30 PM
Application Deadline: Sunday, September 19


SHOW 2 - Saturday, November 6 | 7:30 PM
Application Deadline: Sunday, October 3

Participating Artists Will Receive:
- Space to premiere new ideas or works in progress
- Audience written feedback
- Post-performance Q&A w/ audience
- Discounted rehearsal space courtesy of the Bridge for Dance 
- Optional photo & video ($35 package rate to be paid directly to photographer/videographer)

*$12 application fee 
**$45 participation fee to be paid prior to tech rehearsal
