Nritya Creations Academy of Dance

We are an established dance school with multiple locations across New Jersey, including Marlboro, Cherry Hill, East Windsor, Edison, West Windsor, and Denville, that offers its employees flexible hours and training if needed.

Our Mission: To provide Excellence in Technique based dance training to our diverse students from ages 3 to adulthood with a disciplined and structured approach in teaching both classical Bharatanatyam and Western dance technique that includes Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop. This cross-cultural dance training provides our students with the necessary fundamental dance skills to be well-rounded strong dancers and also prepares them for our cross-cultural Fusion and Bollywood choreography.

The creative dance style of Nritya Creations artistically blends various styles of Indian Dance such as Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Manipuri, and Kathak with Western Dance forms such as jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip-hop, and other cultural dance forms to create a unique and wonderfully pleasing experience of sight and sound.

The Positions: We are hiring for two positions: Hip-Hop to Bollywood Instructor and Kathak Instructor 

1. We are in need of instructors who can teach Western Hip Hop to Bollywood Music at our East Windsor, NJ location. This position requires a thorough understanding of Western Hip-Hop techniques and the ability to choreograph a 2-3 minute routine using these techniques, to Bollywood music. We are open to training and/or guiding Hip-Hop teachers to work with current Bollywood music for our classes. Classes will run from September-June, and we also offer summer classes. 

2. We are looking for Instructors with a strong background in Kathak to teach at either our Marlboro, NJ location and/or our Iselin, NJ location.

Requirements:

Extensive Dance Training in either Kathak or Hip-Hop.
Ability to work with Children, Teens, and Adults.
Ability/Willing to commute to any of the possible locations:

Kathak Instructor Position-

Marlboro: 65 NJ-34, Morganville, NJ 07751

and/or

Iselin Studio: 37 Gill Lane, Iselin, NJ 08830

Hip-Hop Instructor Position-

East Windsor: 859 US Highway 130 East Windsor, NJ 08520

 

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement thoughtful, differentiated, lesson plans that accelerate student learning
- Use daily student learning data to reflect on practice and adjust instruction as needed
- Prompt communication with students and parents
- Choreograph and teach students a routine for the Annual Showcase in June
- Teach and enforce the school-wide systems and structures
