Acro/Tumbling Substitute Teacher Opportunity-Bronx

 

I am a dance teacher at TamiCo Dancing in The Bronx looking for a sub for two beginner acro/tumbling classes on Tuesday, October 26th from 5pm-7pm. Although this is a one-time opportunity, if we think you're a good fit there could be future opportunities for subbing if you're interested. Knowledge of other dance genres (contemporary/Jazz/Ballet) is a must if looking for more subbing opportunities. Hourly rate depends on experience. 

Qualifications:

-College degree preferred

-At least 3 years of dance teaching or gymnastics coaching

-Intermediate understanding of tumbling techniques and spotting methods (eg. must know how to teach a cartwheel, must know how to spot a bridge kick over)

-Ability to demonstrate basic skills (handstands, cartwheels, forward rolls etc.)
