NW DANCE PROJECT - SUMMER DANCE PLATFORM

This summer, we are offering two separate platforms MOVE and PRO to engage artists.  Spend 4 enriching weeks with NW Dance Project in an open and safe studio, connect with other dancers and artists, be inspired, and activate your artistic and physical practices in a spacious and stimulating environment. Immerse yourself in professional technique classes and experience the creative process, repertoire, improvisation and movement styles that are necessary tools for every dancer. This intense, hands-on month of training will provide dancers with the insights, improvisational skills and creative tools that are needed by the most sought after companies and choreographers of today.

Our MOVE Platform is geared for dancers pivoting to a professional career.
Dancers AGE 18+ can audition for this platform – we are prioritizing dancers completing college/conservatory training.

Our PRO Platform is geared for career track dancers to train, develop and grow in the contemporary dance form.
Dancers AGE 14+ can audition for this platform.

Participating dancers will be split into groups by age and merit in order to facilitate increased individual attention and direction.

Dancers are required to audition for inclusion in our MOVE AND PRO PLATFORMS. There are 3 ways to apply / audition.
– Attend an in-person audition
– Attend a virtual live audition
– Submit a video audition 

Pre-registration via our online platform is required for all scheduled auditions (in-person or virtual) and will close 48 hours prior to registration date.
There is limited capacity for both LIVE IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL LIVE auditions. We recommend early application. Auditions will state if they are full.
