The Open Dance Ensemble is looking ahead to our Spring season. We are looking for a choreographer with strong improv experience, or an improv dancer with strong choreographic experience, to create and present new work with us.  Acro experience as well would be a plus. 

We are a volunteer organization, specialize in self-conducted, structured improv, work closely as a collaborative in planning and execution, often rotating choreographers among our members. We have presented more than a dozen new works in the New York City area since our founding in 2017, including two performances this past Fall. We have been rehearsing regularly in Soho on Tuesday evenings, 7-9 PM and have two invitations to perform this Spring.
