Applications are open for Spring for Spring, a dance performance to be presented on June 3-4, 2022 at mignolo arts center! Both new and existing works are welcome, and each work will be presented only once over the course of the weekend. There is a chance that one or more performances will take place outside on the Metuchen Plaza (marley flooring will be laid down in that case) - TBD!

The deadline to apply is April 1, 2022. You will be notified by May 1 with our decision of acceptance or rejection. If your piece is accepted, you will have three days to confirm your participation and one week submit your program information, technical information, publicity photos, and sound file.

Choreographers whose work is chosen are expected to help populate the audience, and we will provide marketing materials to the artists. Proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be split between the artists after the show. (Base level tickets will be $12, and VIP seating will be $20.)

We will also be selecting one choreographer/group for Festival's Choice. The selected choreographer/group will be offered a short residency followed by a performance at mignolo arts center. In addition to Festival's Choice, we will accept votes for Audience Choice, and the choreographer/group selected by the audience will be offered the same residency and performance opportunity at mignolo arts center. Details will be further worked out with the artists once they are selected in order to suit their needs as best as possible.
