Queens based dancers needed to fill-in cast for dance residency performance

The ChoreoJoey Project, a collective performance troupe, is looking for 4 dancers to fill in/understudy for a  new ballet as a part of an emerging artists residency in LIC to be performed June 23-26th 2022. dancers must be experienced in Jazz & modern techniques. Additional skills in lyrical, modern, or West African dance also welcomed. 

Dancers should be comfortable with improvisation and storytelling. dancers should also be able to learn choreography quickly. rehearsals and performance will be mixed virtual & in-person in NYC, so dancers should be local and available for at least 2 of 3 rehearsals during the week 

Rehearsals are unpaid, mondays & wednesdays 7pm - 10pm and saturdays 11am - 4pm. Dancers should have open availability on Mondays & Wednesdays for rehearsals, and flexible Saturdays. stipend for performances
