Dance Teacher Needed

 
Breaking Ground Dance Center

Breaking Ground Dance Center, a More Than Just Great Dancing Affiliated studio located in Pleasantville, NY is looking for experienced and responsible dance teachers. We are especially seeking educators who have an interest in teaching the younger age groups: 3-9. We are looking for people with possible weekday afternoon as well as Saturday morning availability. Competitive pay and travel stipend for Metro North offered. 

Preferred experience teaching:
Ballet/Tap Combo Classes
Ballet/Jazz/Hip Hop to ages 9 and under
Creative Movement or Mommy-and-Me experience a plus! 

Responsibilities will include:
weekly classes from September 2022-June 2023
choreography for end-of-the-year recital
responsiveness in attending occasional staff meetings as well as responding to work emails
positive attitude and team-player mindset

We believe that with the proper attitude and a strong work ethic anything is possible! We are willing to train team members who believe in our mission and want to create a supportive, imaginative, creative, and engaging environment for all of our dancers.
