Jon Lehrer Dance Company is seeking dancers for their 2022-23 season.

Artists of color, all racial and ethnic backgrounds, and all
gender identities are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Details:

- Contracts run June 6th, 2022 - May 31st, 2023
- Local, national, and potential international touring/performance opportunities
- Rehearsal schedule: 2-4 days per week, 4 hours per day, includes company class
- Starting pay for company members - $15/hr for rehearsals, $350/week for performances
- Ages 21+
- Must live in the NYC area
- Also seeking company apprentices (unpaid)

In-person audition is invite only and will take place at:
Mark Morris Dance Center in Brooklyn, NY
on Sunday, May 1st from 4:30pm-7pm.

Dancers asked to attend the in-person audition will be notified within 3 days of submission.

JLDC is a modern based dance company, infusing elements of jazz dance to obtain our signature combination of artistry and athleticism. We are seeking highly physical dancers who have a strong background in modern and jazz dance, with an emphasis on the classic techniques. Your reel should showcase your ability in both idioms as well as your own personal style. The company performs barefoot, please make sure your reel has footage of you dancing barefoot.
