Position Summary

 

The PSM will be responsible for the smooth running of our one-week tour of performances in various schools in the Westport School District. Each day will consist of 1 or 2 hour-long performances in the school auditorium, gym, or cafeteria. The PSM will be responsible for daily communication to the dancers about schedule and venue specifics. This person will load in and out a basic sound system, set it up, and then run audio cues from Qlab on a laptop during the performance. The PSM will write and distribute Performance reports for each day in conjunction with the Dance Captains. The PSM will need to attend two rehearsals in-person in Washington, CT on June 2 and 3rd to learn the call of the show and must be able to drive themselves to and from rehearsals and all performances.

 

Compensation for this position is $150 per day worked plus mileage reimbursement for travel to and from all work sites. Housing is not provided; we are seeking someone CT-based or someone who can commute from the NYC-area easily.
