Performance opportunity - Chris Ferris & Dancers is holding an audition for dancers to be a part of a new trio that will be 10 to 15 min. in length and performed on Oct. 14 & 15 at Green Studio in LIC. Dancers need to be adept at picking up complicated phrases, technically trained, and have some partnering experience. Rehearsals will be 1 time a week on Sundays after 2:00 or possibly another day if needed. I create dances without music and then music is made for the dance. You will have the opportunity to work with timings where dance is the primary source. There will be a performance pay but unfortunately I am not able to pay for rehearsals.
