Project.KB one Pager

Hi everyone!

Project.KB is a Brownsville-based interdisciplinary dance organization whose mission is to build a sustainable economy through dance.

We are building a studio and performance space in Brownsville to open in Fall (September) 2023.

Project.KB is looking to gather a list of Brooklyn-based dance teachers who can teach both Youth and Adults in both styles Hip-Hop, Latin, and Social Styles (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Tango, Hustle, etc)

**We are hoping to hire one to two teachers to teach 1 day a week, 2 classes a day, with a 15 minute break inbetween.

The pay is competitive including travel time/cost and the schedule is TBD. We are prioritzing working with teachers who are a good fit and willing to work around their ideal schedule. Something between the hours 4:00 pm and 8 pm (afterschool/after work)

Teachers should definitly be Brooklyn-based and ideally live in Brownsville, Bedstuy, Crown Heights, or Bushwick.

Please reach out to Kristina at kbcreativedevelopments@gmail.com to inquire more.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Diversity and Inclusion Statement?:

Building a Sustainable and Inclusive Economy through Dance.

Project.KB is committed to continuing to make diversity, equity, and inclusion part of everything we do – from the process of content creation to how we build our workforce.

Project.KB is working hard and expanding our programming to fulfil that vision. In the past two years we’ve increased our in-person programming from three to six months in length. We’ve doubled the number of free classes we offer to our community and have been able to offer more job opportunities to our artists. We’ve expanded our operating team and the number of artistic collaborators we work with. As a new organization, operating at this scale brings risk, but our team thoroughly believes in our mission and are more than capable to accomplish our goals. This commitment brings an elevated level of responsibility to everything we do, including a workforce that’s more representative of our audience and a workplace that creates a sense of belonging for everyone. Thank you for trusting and believing us on this journey.
