We are a growing dance school with multiple locations across New Jersey, including Marlboro, East Windsor, and Edison, that offers its employees flexible hours and training if needed.

Our Mission: To provide Excellence in Technique based dance training to our diverse students from ages 3 to adulthood with a disciplined and structured approach to teaching both classical Bharatanatyam and Western dance technique that includes Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop. This cross-cultural dance training provides our students with the necessary fundamental dance skills to be well-rounded strong dancers and also prepares them for our cross-cultural Fusion choreography.

The creative dance style of Nritya Creations artistically blends various styles of Indian Dance such as Bharatanatyam and Kathak with Western Dance forms such as jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, and other cultural dance forms to create a unique experience of sight and sound.

The Position: We’re looking for well-rounded teachers who are trained in Hip-Hop, Ballet, Bollywood, Classical Indian Dance, and/or Jazz to teach Bollywood Fusion, Hip-Hop to Bollywood, and/or Indo-Contemporary classes. The pay range we’re offering is $25-$40 per hour. Classes will run from September-June, and we also offer summer classes.

Requirements:

Extensive Dance Training (5+ years minimum)

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement thoughtful, differentiated, lesson plans that accelerate student learning

Use daily student learning data to reflect on practice and adjust instruction as needed

Prompt communication with students and parents

Choreograph and teach students a routine for the Annual Showcase in June

Teach and enforce the school-wide systems and structures
