Testimonials From Volunteer Festival Assistants 2021
from George Mason University, Princeton University, Bard College, Barnard College

“Working as a Kaatsbaan intern was one of the best experiences I have ever had. We were able to work with and learn from leaders in our field - from artists to administrators to technicians - while simultaneously enjoying ourselves and all the beautiful Hudson Valley has to offer.”
   - H. Harkins, Social Media (hired into a paid position as Social Media Associate)

“Interning at Kaatsbaan was an inspiring experience to say the least. I learned so much whilst working alongside Kaatsbaan's administrative team; their passion for bringing the arts to the community is evident in everything they do, and it felt so rewarding getting to be a part of that mission!”
   - G. Felder, Development (hired into a paid position as Ballet Intensive Associate and Administrative Associate)

“As an intern at Kaatsbaan, I was able to dive into the specifics of my department, while also being able to experience all aspects of the administrative and production side of an arts festival. After having that experience, I feel ready and inspired to continue working in the field of arts management. All of the staff at Kaatsbaan were so kind and open. I learned a lot from their mentoring and expertise.”
   - E. Cervelli, Box Office and Production

“I am still processing the amazing experience of working as a 2021 Spring Festival Intern at Kaatsbaan. The memories are truly everlasting, and I am filled with so much gratitude for the whole Kaatsbaan team. “
