ONE MORE SPOT! Calling choreographers/dancers

 
A unique opportunity for artists

Do you need time and space to create and work with incredible artists? The Artist After Hours Choreography Intensive will give participants the opportunity to create small ensemble choreography in a judgement-free setting and be mentored by established artists in the field. Guest Artists include Adam Barruch, Maleek Washington, Amadi Washington, Elisa Clark, Thryn Saxon, Matthew Westerby, Ashley Houck, and more!

August 1st-5th 2022 - 10am-6pm - In person at Triskelion Arts, Brooklyn, NY.

In ONE WEEK you will:

- Take 5 masterclasses from choreographers around NYC.

- Take part in 3 seminars talking about fundraising, PT, artistic responsibility, and more!

- Create choreography on your peers to be performed at a public final showing the last day.

- Perform in new pieces choreographed by your peers.

- Receive a filmed version of your performances for website and reel usage.

Special Workshop Opportunity:

Mentor Session on August 3rd from 1pm-3pm:

Established choreographers will provide feedback on the work

that has been created so far. Each group will be paired with a mentor to

discuss their work, then have time to work with their cast for the rest of the day.

If accepted there will be a $400 fee to participate. Your tuition will cover 5 dance classes, 5 seminars, 20 hours of studio space to create choreography, 2 hours to work with mentors and get feedback on your work, and a performance opportunity to showcase your work to friends and family.
